HISTORY

Gandolini Winery was founded in 2011 by Stefano Gandolini and his partner, Fernando Izquierdo Menéndez, a successful Chilean businessman.

Our vineyard is focused exclusively on Cabernet Sauvignon, Chile’s most famous and recognized grape variety. Our first grapevines were planted in 2001. Stefano Gandolini firmly believes Maipo Andes is one of the few places where world-class Cabernet Sauvignon can be made. With a vast experience in the handling of this grape variety in Maipo Andes during his time in vineyards of the area, Stefano Gandolini seeks to make a Chilean icon wine and one of the best in the country, based on the elegance, intensity and complexity of the Cabernet Sauvignon variety in the Maipo Andes.

Gandolini is focused on producing one wine only —Las 3 Marías Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon. Its production is limited in scale allowing for the highest standards of quality.

“This wine is unique from its origin. It is born from realizing the amazing treasure that is found in this unique place in Chile.”

Gandolini Las 3 Marias Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon

Gandolini Winery is, first and foremost, the family project of the Gandolinis. The name of their wine, “Las 3 Marías Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon”, is a tribute to the three “Marías” that are a part of Stefano’s life: his grandmother, his mother and his wife share the same first name. This wine celebrates the influence of these women in Stefano’s love for family, art and wine.

“Our label depicting a naked woman gazing at herself and communicating with an intimate and sensual expression, inspires people to experience the vast openness of our minds and elevate our senses so we can become free people, people that choose the unknown as our path to find self-love in our lives.”
